End User License Agreement — Latent Canvas

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and the developer of Latent Canvas ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and this Agreement.
2. On-device generation
The App generates images entirely on your device using an on-device AI model. The images you generate are created and stored on your device. The prompts you submit are recorded to our backend for safety as described in the Privacy Policy. The AI model is downloaded once from Apple's hosting.
3. Acceptable use — zero tolerance for objectionable content
You agree not to use the App to create, request, or attempt to create:
- sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes minors (this is strictly prohibited and may be reported to authorities as required by law);
- non-consensual intimate imagery or content depicting identifiable real people in a sexual, defamatory, or harassing manner;
- content that is illegal, that promotes violence or terrorism, or that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy rights.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive use. The App filters prohibited prompts, and violations may result in loss of access to the App's features. You are solely responsible for the images you create and how you use them, and for compliance with all laws applicable to you.
4. Reporting
You can report objectionable results from within the App (Settings → Report a problem) or by contacting support@latentry.app. Reports are reviewed promptly and offending capability is removed where appropriate.
5. Intellectual property
The App's code is owned by the developer. The underlying AI model weights are provided under the Apache-2.0 license, and the MLX inference kernels under the MIT license; applicable notices are included in the App.
6. Subscriptions and billing
The App offers an optional Premium auto-renewable subscription that unlocks higher-resolution generation, available on a monthly or yearly basis. Pricing is shown in the App before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The free tier of the App remains usable without any subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's Media Services terms; refunds are handled by Apple under those terms.
7. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, unexpected, or unsuitable for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer disclaims all warranties.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will re-prompt you to accept within the App.
10. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
