Common questions
Does Latentry collect any of my data?
No. Everything runs on your device — no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no tracking. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
Why is a tool greyed out?
Some tools need specific hardware. For example, 3D Object Scanner and Room Scanner require LiDAR, and the AI Assistant requires Apple Intelligence. Tools your device can't run are clearly explained rather than broken — they'll show the requirement instead of failing.
Where are my files saved?
Items you create are stored locally inside the app's Library. They stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them. Saving to Photos is add-only and only happens when you ask.
How do permissions work?
Latentry only requests a permission for the specific tool that needs it (camera, microphone, motion, or location), and the data is used on-device and never transmitted. You can change any permission anytime in iOS Settings.
